Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for the preparation of high-quality menu items in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen. Duties include setting up stations, preparing meat/seafood/poultry/vegetable items, following recipes and presentation guidelines, ensuring sanitary work areas, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with other duties as assigned. Requires adherence to cost control guidelines, strong teamwork, excellent customer service, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Minimum 1 year of fine dining or related experience; High school diploma or GED; ServSafe certification preferred. Position is full-time year-round in Brevard, NC with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- ServSafe Certification preferred or must be able to obtain ServSafe Certification within first year of employment
- Minimum 1 year of fine dining or related experience
- Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality
- Must work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision and as a team player
- Must demonstrate effective communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must demonstrate good planning skills
- Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Company standards
