Job Summary
Line Cook at Taverna Costale prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other equipment; maintains standard portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen rules; stocks and maintains food at line stations; ensures cleanliness and sanitation; follows plate presentation, garnish setup, and closing checklists; assists with off-peak prep and closing duties; adheres to safety and sanitation policies; embodies passion for food and hospitality while delivering a welcoming dining experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in kitchen preparation and/or cooking
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and team-members
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 20+ pounds
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
