Job Summary
Seasonal Line Cook at Green Bay Country Club responsible for assisting with food preparation, following recipes and portion control guidelines, preparing and assembling dishes according to menu specifications, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation. Requires adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines; strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced kitchen; knowledge of grills, fryers, and ovens; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Opportunities include hands-on kitchen operation, two dining locations (Main Clubhouse and Sports Center), golf privileges, employee discounts, and occasional meals.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, ovens)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and following recipes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Team-oriented communication in a busy kitchen setting
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and reach
