Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to recipes and quality standards, ensuring dishes are made to order with correct presentation and temperatures. Maintain a clean, organized workstation; manage ingredients, inventory, and storage; coordinate with kitchen team for timely service; enforce health and safety regulations; assist with inventory, and support the Kitchen Manager. Requires strong culinary skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and teamwork, knowledge of food safety and sanitation, and eligibility to work 18+ with a state food handler certificate; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Culinary training or certification is a plus
- State Food Handler certificate required
- Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
