Job Summary
Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards; showcase plating and presentation flair. Maintain temperature charts and food safety records, adhering to sanitation protocols. Notify Chef for inventory needs and participate in streamlined kitchen operations. Uphold Civitas standards in personal grooming and kitchen hygiene; collaborate to organize kitchen, storage, and dish areas; ensure FIFO rotation and proper dating for freshness. Assist Chef Manager/F&B Director to improve kitchen efficiency and offer staff training opportunities. Follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and regulatory requirements. Opportunities for creativity, growth, and continued learning within a supportive culinary team at an Elk Creek Assisted Living community.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting
