Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for creating an exceptional culinary experience through preparation and presentation of menu items, following recipes and specifications, and ensuring guests' safety with proper handling and sanitation. Duties include preparing and cooking food per prep sheets to minimize waste, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, operating kitchen equipment safely, storing products correctly, and collaborating with team to deliver fast-paced guest service in a hotel/restaurant environment. Must be able to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends; effective communication with team members; strong attention to safety, quality indicators, and cost controls; minimum age 18; physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds; adherence to nondiscrimination policies and E-Verify where required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with other team members
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods
- Discipline and self-motivation to follow safety and sanitation policies
