Job Summary
Line Cook handling multiple kitchen stations in a high-volume hotel kitchen; responsibilities include cooking, food preparation, presentation, and adherence to sanitation standards, operating equipment (braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers), producing quality dishes to recipes and standards, managing temperatures and sauces, restocking and prep for shift transitions, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or culinary diploma required
- One to five years of minimum previous experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
