Job Summary
Line Cook at Torchy’s: responsible for fry, grill, sauté, steam stations, and taco assembly in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Cook and prep according to Torchy’s recipes and standards; monitor quality and presentation; maintain a clean, organized work station and uphold food safety. Collaborate with BOH team to ensure timely, correct preparation; assist with inventory and setup for service; work with urgency to meet guest demand while preserving quality. Must meet state/local Food Handler’s certification requirements by first day or per location timeline; ability to stand for several hours and lift up to 40 pounds. Bilingual (Spanish/English) optional and benefits available for eligible roles.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification
- Previous experience preferred
- Open to varied work schedules and hours based on your restaurant’s needs
- Must be able to stand for several hours
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
