Job Summary
Line Cook at Torchy’s national restaurant chain responsible for Fry, Grill, Sauté, Steam, and Taco stations. Prepare and cook ingredients to Torchy’s recipes and standards; supervise fry, grill, sauté, steam stations, and taco assembly; monitor quality and presentation; maintain a clean, safe workspace; collaborate with BOH team; assist with inventory and prep; work with urgency during busy periods while sustaining food quality and presentation. Need state/local Food Handler certification; open to varied hours; ability to stand for long periods; ability to lift up to 40 pounds; flexible, fun team member with a passion for high-volume, Damn Good food.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification
- Certification(s) must be obtained by your first day or within the timeline required by your location
- Previous experience preferred
- Open to varied work schedules and hours based on needs of the restaurant
- Must be able to stand for several hours
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
