Job Summary
Line Cook for Club Fortune Casino in Henderson, NV. Responsible for producing high-quality food with precision while observing and implementing proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures. Requires ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen, multitask, and maintain professionalism. Must have or be able to obtain SNHD Food Card; Serve Safe certification preferred. English communication skills and basic math for portions and recipes are needed; ability to work as part of a team or independently in a noisy, busy environment; able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year experience as Line Cook preferred
- Serve Safe Certification preferred but not necessary
- SNHD Food Card Required
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Basic mathematical skills for portions and recipes
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently
- Ability to work in high pressure, fast paced environment
- Must be able to multitask
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of sanitation standards
- Knowledge of food storage requirements (hot and cold)
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Operate in fast-paced, loud, crowded environment
- Serve Safe Certification preferred but not necessary
