Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for setting up and stocking stations, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. Duties include food prep and portioning, weighing ingredients, ensuring proper mise en place, stocking food, cooking a variety of items, maintaining correct temperatures, tasting for quality, preparing sauces and garnishes, proper storage, inspecting deliveries, and assisting with other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager. Requires knowledge of food safety and sanitation, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work with minimum supervision. Education: High School graduate or equivalent; Experience: at least 1 year; Certification or ability to obtain proper food safety training.
