Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for setting up and stocking stations, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. Duties include completing food prep and portioning, weighing ingredients, ensuring mise en place, maintaining stock, cooking a variety of foods to Chef’s standards, ensuring correct temperatures, tasting for quality, preparing sauces and garnishes, proper storage, reporting equipment issues, and assisting with duties as assigned. Must adhere to safe food-handling practices, maintain sanitation, and communicate effectively with staff while supporting guest satisfaction through consistent, high-quality food presentation.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent vocational training
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Proper food safety training and certification as described by law or the ability to obtain
