Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for preparation and cooking of food for the hospital cafeteria and Room Service, following recipes and HACCP guidelines; prepares Room Service orders and cafeteria meals according to recipes, supports catering events, ensures patient and staff satisfaction with food presentation and service, maintains clean and sanitized work environment, and collaborates with hospital staff to deliver quality meals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Associates Degree preferred in Culinary
- Minimum 2 years previous food preparation experience
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP guidelines
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and carry out instructions accurately
