Job Summary
Rockstar line cook to support busy season in a fine-dining-leaning kitchen. Prepare locally-inspired dishes, develop and execute new menu items, oversee daily preparation, conduct inventories, and maintain sanitary and well-maintained workspaces. Lead a small team in banquet settings (up to 100 guests) and ensure timely service while adhering to food safety standards. Must have knife skills, knowledge of sauces and butchering techniques, and experience with commercial equipment (slicer, Robo-coup, Hobart, convection ovens). Open to candidates with strong culinary background who can contribute to a collaborative, values-driven hospitality culture.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years industry experience
- State Food Handler’s License(s)
- Ability to cook proteins to pre-determined temperatures
- Ability to direct a banquet up to 100 with a small team
- Knife skills; ability to adjust preparations for flavor and accommodate customer’s needs
- Reading and comprehension of simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos; effective presentation of information
