Job Summary
Prepare meals using high-quality ingredients and present them appealingly. Set up the kitchen with necessary tools, supervise and delegate tasks to team members, and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Follow all food safety regulations and participate in opening and closing procedures. Create seasonal menus based on customer research, demonstrate advanced culinary techniques, and ensure timely, high-quality plating while thriving under pressure. Strong time management, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds are required. ServeSafe or Food Handler certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
