Job Summary
Line Cook at THE ONE GROUP responsible for executing high-quality menu items with precision, consistency, and efficiency. Duties include preparing and executing dishes from the assigned station, following recipes and plating standards, reading and processing food tickets for timely service, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, assisting with daily prep and inventory, organizing storage/production areas, collaborating with BOH/FOH teams, and adhering to health department sanitation requirements. Requires experience in a high-volume restaurant, strong culinary techniques, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, knife skills, attention to detail, and physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs; availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar kitchen role in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
