Job Summary
Develop your knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures (grill, sauté and fry); you will work with knives and kitchen equipment to reach and recreate recipes and create well-prepared, high-quality dishes. Maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen and store items properly while ensuring ingredient quality. You will learn and minimize food waste through cross-utilization and collaborate with a world-class culinary team in a coastal New England setting. The role requires 1-3 years of kitchen experience, active food handler certification (or ability to obtain), strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds. Schedule includes a variety of day/night and weekend shifts; must be at least 21 years old. Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, with growth opportunities and benefits at Pyramid Global Hospitality at Wayfinder Newport.
