Job Summary
Line Cook at Belmont Village Senior Living responsible for preparing meals from scratch per recipes, managing multiple orders, ensuring attractive presentation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and upholding safety procedures. The role emphasizes hospitality, resident satisfaction, teamwork, and conveying quality through accurate measurements and proper cooking methods in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Requires at least 6 months of Line Cook experience, ability to work early mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays, and English communication; background checks and health screenings are part of the employment process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high volume restaurant setting
- Proven success with basic Culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements and cooking methods
- Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test
