Job Summary
The Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk at Global Partners is responsible for managing the deli and food service daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and quality of food preparation, including fried foods, salads, sandwiches, and other deli items. Responsibilities include handling cash register transactions, learning to operate various equipment, managing deli ingredients, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to food safety standards. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and the ability to engage in physical tasks related to food preparation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Work safely around sharp slicers, tools and hot ovens and burners
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- 2 years foodservice or retail management
Additional Requirements
- Use of knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries for 18+
- Standing for long periods of time, bending and twisting below waist, frequently lifting and/or maneuvering merchandise and supplies
