Job Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing high quality menu items according to recipes under the supervision of the Executive Chef. Key responsibilities include maintaining production kitchen operations, portioning food, following safe food handling procedures, and operating kitchen equipment. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in commercial kitchens, knowledge in classical cooking methods, and proper knife skills. The position is full-time with a salary range of $20-$22 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum (1) year of experience working in commercial production kitchens
- Familiarity with classical cooking methods including grilling, sautéing, searing, roasting, and braising
- Basic understanding of knife techniques and terms
