Line Continuous Improvement Lead

Job Summary
Lead Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and 5S initiatives while driving adoption of Lean/Continuous Improvement tools across the line. Analyze production data to identify top losses, report daily/weekly insights, and design data collection processes to automate floor capture. Collaborate with LCT members to set daily priorities, coach operators and supervisors on CI topics, and execute improvement initiatives with tracked value delivery. Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic projects to enhance line performance, safety, quality, and attainment. Requires onsite flexibility for 24-hour coverage, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, and proficiency in Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or related field
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Prior supervisory or lead experience
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capability in the application of Continuous Improvement tools
- Ability to flex schedule, as needed, to be onsite during any hours the line is running to support the work of the LCT
- Approachable and engaging with a passionate and tenacious approach to yield tangible results
- Capacity to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and data collection skills
- Proficiency in Excel (or other analytics software)
- Strong computer skills
- Must be able to stand and work on the production floor for extensive time periods
