Job Summary
Lead Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and 5S initiatives to drive Lean/Continuous Improvement adoption across the line. Analyze production data for daily/weekly meetings, investigate top losses, and design automated data collection processes to improve line performance. Coordinate training programs and skills assessments for operators, technicians, and managers while collaborating with Engineering and R&D on strategic projects. Set daily priorities through the Daily Direction Setting meeting and promote the Manufacturing Operating System culture. Requires flexibility to work onsite during any hours the line runs, with a typical range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually. Based at the Aurora, CO facility within a high-growth organization owned by Bain Capital.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or related field
- prior manufacturing experience
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capability in the application of Continuous Improvement tools
- Ability to flex schedule, as needed, to be onsite during any hours the line is running
- Capacity to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and data collection skills
- Proficiency in Excel (or other analytics software)
- strong computer skills
- Must be able to stand and work on the production floor for extensive time periods
Desired Qualifications
- Prior supervisory or lead experience
- second language proficiency (Spanish)
