Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities; assess mental status; diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans; apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; licensed in Nebraska as an APRN with focus in psychiatry and prescriptive authority (DEA); malpractice insurance; 1 year geriatric psychology experience and 1 year in SNF/acute rehab settings; Spanish language skills a plus; generous salary with base and incentives, PTO, CEU support, comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Nebraska by the Board of Nursing with focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Nebraska Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees)
- 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
