Job Summary
Properly take required patient images using technological equipment and communicate clearly with clinicians on a regular basis. Assist with office administrative tasks and provide coverage for Medical Assistants while helping physicians with procedures in patient exam rooms. Ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned tasks and maintain professional interactions with patients, physicians, and coworkers. This full-time role in Danville, California, requires a California AART-certified X-Ray Technician with at least one year of experience. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, able to float to surrounding locations, and possess the physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds. Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or higher in a related area
- At least 1-year experience working as an X-Ray Technician in a medical practice or similar environment
- Current California AART certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Knowledge and full understanding of current radiological standards
- Hands on experience assisting Physicians with procedures and tasks in patient exam rooms along with a wide range of tasks related to patient care
- Effective time management and organizational skills including prioritizing daily tasks
- Ability to communicate logically and clearly verbally and in writing, along with good listening communication skills while maintaining professional and courteous interactions with patients, physicians, and coworkers
- Ability to ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned tasks
- Respectfully accepts coaching and guidance provided constructively to ensure continual improvement, career growth, and development
- PC Proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to successfully pass an in-depth background investigation, including clean pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to float to surrounding locations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Physical strength and agility to position patients for a variety of diagnostic examinations
