Job Summary
Administer ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic purposes and perform radiographic procedures using established modalities while providing optimal patient care. Manage limited scope operations, noting that exams on small children and babies are restricted until manager or QA Tech evaluation is complete. Maintain current Limited X-ray machine operator permit through the Wisconsin Society of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire or transfer. Work a day rotation shift with no call obligation at St Marys Hospital Superior.
Required Qualifications
- Valid MN Department of Health X-ray Operator certificate within one year of hire or transfer
- Current Limited X-ray machine operator permit through the Wisconsin Society of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire or transfer
- Current Limited X-ray Machine Operator licensure through the North Dakota Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDBMIRT)
- Radiologic Operator training through Essentia Health
- Verification of legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
