Job Summary
Limited Partner Relations Associate at AngelList, a hybrid NYC-based role supporting investor platform and fund operations. You will be the front line for investor communications, handle diligence calls with fund counsel and frustrated stakeholders, manage fund economics questions (capital calls, wire issues, tax/K-1 questions), and drive process improvements across legal, tax, banking, sales, and product. You’ll translate recurring investor issues into product feedback, build scalable workflows and automations, and manage relationships for key accounts. The role requires 2-3+ years in a customer-facing operational capacity, strong communication, and the ability to navigate high-stakes, time-sensitive situations, with a willingness to leverage AI tools to increase efficiency. The position is hybrid, based in the NYC office, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3+ years in a customer-facing role with operational responsibilities
- experience at a startup or in fintech (preferred)
- ability to handle hard calls, de-escalate frustrated stakeholders, and keep issues moving
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- experience using or integrating AI tools to improve personal and team effectiveness
- track record of driving projects end-to-end (scoping, coordinating with stakeholders, pushing forward)
- curiosity about venture, private markets, and capital movements
- proactive problem-solving mindset and ownership
