Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist - Part Time

Job Summary
Greet patients in the waiting area, triage assessments, and escort patients to discharge counters while maintaining patient flow. Obtain patient histories, measure vital signs, and record information on charts. Administer injections, medications, and wound care as directed by providers, ensuring proper documentation. Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, ECGs, and oxygen equipment, and conduct CLIA-waived lab tests and specimen collection. Monitor disposable inventory, perform quality checks on medical equipment, and assist with registration and clerical duties. Utilize shielding and collimation to minimize radiation exposure while adhering to ALARA principles. Prepare patients for procedures, explain protocols, and schedule follow-up appointments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a current certification as an LMRT/NCT for state qualification of employment
- Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS
- Prior experience is preferred
- PC skills or applicable computer experience
- Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology
- Ability to work all shifts
- Ability to escort or transport patient by wheelchair or stretcher
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to see with corrective eyewear
- Must be able to hear clearly with assistance
- Able to handle emergency or crisis situations
- Will be required to wear protective equipment as necessary
- Ability to lift 15-20 pounds
