Job Summary
Under general supervision, the LMRT/MA-NCT performs standard x-ray examinations and patient-care duties under provider direction. Responsibilities include preparing patients and exam rooms, updating medical records, operating radiologic equipment (CR/DR), selecting appropriate radiation exposure per orders, ensuring shielding protocols, phlebotomy, collecting laboratory specimens, administering injections and wound care under orders, and coordinating cross-functional team actions to ensure seamless patient care. Additional duties include documenting care, scheduling tests and follow-ups, instructing patients on treatment and medications, and maintaining safety standards for radiologic procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Limited Radiologic Technology Program required or NCT Program
- Current state Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) or Non-Certified Technician with Spine, Extremities, and Chest Modules licensure required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- Experience: Prior Medical Assistant, NC-T or Limited Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
