Job Summary
Limited License Radiology Tech at NorthBay Health’s Fairfield-Green Valley Office performs x-ray procedures within the scope of certification, ensuring patient safety and well-being during examinations. Responsibilities include assisting and instructing patients, helping with clerical duties, reporting equipment malfunctions, and cleaning/inspecting equipment prior to use. Must operate under limited license radiologic technology guidance and apply radiology procedures for patients across all age groups.
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Tech license/certification or eligible for limited license radiologic technology practice
- Ability to perform x-ray procedures within scope of certification
- Patient safety and care across age groups (infancy through geriatrics)
- Assist and instruct patients during examinations
- Assist with clerical duties as assigned
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness
