Job Summary
Lightweight Team Assistant (Temporary, Part-Time) for Burton’s Lightweight team. Own day-to-day logistics for a group of international snowboard riders, including product ordering, shipping, sample/PO management, travel coordination (domestic and international), and expense tracking. Serve as the primary operations contact for riders, coordinate itineraries and events, support the Sports Marketing team on projects, and help manage records, budgets, and communications. Role requires strong organization, cross-cultural communication, and a passion for snowboarding; 32 hours/week with ~25% travel; in-office in Burlington, VT with eligibility to work in multiple U.S. states.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a marketing, team management, logistics, or operations support role, preferably within action sports, youth athletics, or the snowboard industry
- Familiarity with snowboarding or action sports culture is required
- Experience coordinating travel logistics (domestic and international) and expense management is preferred
- Strong organization and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working across international time zones and with riders of varying cultural backgrounds
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Must be available to work in Burlington, VT office Monday–Thursday 9AM–5PM; travel required ~25%
