Job Summary
Perform inspections, repairs, and installations of lightning protection systems on commercial buildings, including flat roofs, office towers, and skyscrapers. Write detailed inspection and repair reports and maintain accurate records. Safely climb ladders, access building roofs, and work at heights while operating hand tools to complete jobs on schedule. Provide professional communication with project managers and clients, working both independently and as part of a small field team. Travel regionally in the southeastern U.S. and occasionally nationwide. Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols. This role requires a strong construction background and ability to work in both office and field settings (approx. 60% field, 40% office). Candidates must be physically able to lift ~50 lbs, work in inclement weather, and pass a physical exam, background check, and drug screening. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet ATS driving record standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must be able to pass a physical exam
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylum seeker)
- Ability to work at heights
- Physically able to lift ~50 lbs unassisted
- Comfortable working on commercial building roofs
