Lightning Protection Engineer

Job Summary
Install and upgrade lightning protection and earthing systems across MOD sites, hospitals, high-rise residential buildings, and major universities. Work at height using scaffolding and access equipment while adhering to design specs and BS EN 62305 standards. Complete site documentation, liaise with project managers and clients, and perform repairs on existing systems. Operate independently or within a tight-knit team across regional projects with occasional travel. Requires proven lightning protection experience, NVQ Level 2 or 3 certification, CSCS card, and full UK driving licence. Competitive salary with overtime at 1.5 rate, paid travel time, and company vehicle included.
Required Qualifications
- Proven background in lightning protection (install / test / repair)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Lightning Conductor Engineering or Level 3 Lightning Protection Test & Inspection
- Solid understanding of BS EN 62305
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
