Lighting Technician

Job Summary
Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, and other items associated with lighting systems safely and neatly in customer facilities. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures while complying with FSG safety policies, Government/Local regulations, and ordinances. Perform physically demanding tasks using basic and specialized tools throughout the service job/work order process. Possess at least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience, with a preference for lighting retrofit strategies and NRLT designation. Maintain a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel
- Must be reliable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive customer service skills
- Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Lighting and retrofit experience preferred
- Preferably, candidates with an NRLT designation (Non-residential Lighting Technician)
