Lighting Technician

Job Summary
Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, and other items associated with lighting systems safely and neatly in customer facilities. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures while adhering to FSG safety policies and Government/Local regulations. Perform physically demanding tasks conveying knowledge of basic and specialized tools throughout the service job/work order process. Possess a high level of professional customer service and vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. A hiring bonus is available for bringing a complete crew.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel
- Must be reliable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive customer service skills
- Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Lighting and retrofit experience preferred
- Preferably, candidates with an NRLT designation (Non-residential Lighting Technician)
