Job Summary
Greet customers entering the lighting showroom, create quotes ensuring acceptable gross margins, and follow up to convert quotes to orders within expectations. Enter and bill orders timely, monitor and cancel unsuccessful quotes, and proactively expedite orders by establishing material promise dates. Coordinate shipments and deliveries with customers and internal resources, review customer pricing for accuracy, and issue return tickets. Participate in key supplier promotions, keep customer contacts updated, and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement efforts. May assist with physical inventory preparation. Join the Mayer team in Pelham, AL, with 1+ years of sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience
- High School or GED

- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- Sense of urgency, with excellent sales and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
