Job Summary
Manage projects from submittal initiation through closure by setting up job files and filing all documentation per established standards. Maintain active files with customer and vendor purchase orders, cut sheets, correspondence, change orders, and delivery schedules. Release projects for shipment upon receiving written customer approval and perform expediting functions to ensure materials are shipped and received within agreed timeframes. Build professional relationships with customers and vendors to deliver optimal service. Requires transportation for off-site meetings and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. This Project Specialist role supports Womack Electric Supply Company, a family-owned leader in electrical supply distribution serving communities across 28 states.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 to 3 years' related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- transportation available to attend meetings outside of the office
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
