Job Summary
The Lighting Lead will be responsible for overseeing a team in the assembly of lighting components and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include leading fixture preparation, installation of LED lighting components, troubleshooting electrical issues, maintaining quality control, and facilitating an open communication culture within the team. The role requires reading blueprints and wiring diagrams, utilizing testing devices for problem identification, and motivating team members towards achieving objectives while reporting on performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Lighting or electrical background is a plus
- Forklift Certified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with low-voltage LEDs
- Experience using Solid Works PDM
- Experience with FEA
- Project management experience
- Leadership experience
- Experience with other CAD software (Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, etc.)
- 3D Printing Experience
- Knowledge of UL and CSA standards
- Experience with lighting and electrical design
