Job Summary
Conduct servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on light vehicles, diagnosing and fixing faults in engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and driveline components. Perform inspections to identify necessary repairs, complete preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate job records while communicating repair requirements clearly. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard by keeping the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures. Provide reliable support to the workshop team and customers in a busy regional environment.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, or equivalent
- Previous workshop experience in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and reliability
- Current driver's licence
