Job Summary
Collect fees, operate cash registers, issue receipts, sell merchandise, and maintain supply stock while assisting with seasonal light show operations during evening and outdoor hours. Greet park visitors, handle inquiries, provide information, and inform patrons of rules and regulations. Attend staff trainings and report unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty. Carry out additional duties as assigned by Park Management or Supervisor on Duty. Requires ability to communicate effectively, operate cash registers, work in variable weather, and perform custodial tasks. Available for evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be age 16 or over
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash accurately
- Ability to learn the operation of the show and to obtain a working knowledge of NOVA Parks
- Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks
- Availability to work a variable work schedule, which includes evening hours, weekends, and holidays
