Job Summary
Feed large and small linens onto feeder belts for ironing and folding, then collect, stack, and load folded items onto transport racks. Sort incoming soiled linens to prepare them for cleaning while meeting production standards efficiently and accurately. Perform all tasks safely following OSHA standards and report any unsafe conditions to management immediately. Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall production operations. This full-time first-shift role at Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply in Sunbury, PA includes a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Takes pride in their work and maintains high standards.
- Has a stable work history, with good attendance and punctuality.
- Often has experience in fast-paced environments, such as production, manufacturing, assembly, picking, catching, shipping, packing, warehouse, restaurant, or retail roles.
- Can meet the physical requirements of the position (moderate lifting, repetitive motions such as gripping and grasping, and standing 8 hours/day)
- Works as a team player who acts with honesty and integrity
