Job Summary
Diagnose and repair automotive A/C systems and electrical issues in a high-volume Ford/Lincoln service department. Perform advanced electrical diagnostics using manufacturer tools; address HVAC concerns, wiring issues, sensors, modules, and control systems. Document diagnostic steps and repair actions; collaborate with service advisors to explain repairs; adhere to manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards; maintain a clean, safe work environment; participate in Ford/Lincoln training; compensation includes hourly pay with production-based incentives and comprehensive benefits. This role emphasizes technical skill in A/C and electrical diagnostics, Ford/Lincoln vehicle experience, independent work in a busy shop, and long-term stability with a respected California dealer group.
Required Qualifications
- Automotive technician experience with a focus on A/C and electrical diagnostics
- Strong electrical diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Ford and/or Lincoln vehicles preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume environment
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening
