Job Summary
Light Equipment Operator 1 - 1st Shift responsible for meeting production goals and quality, operating and setting up machinery (227, Alphaliner, Ferag), and leading a team with proper materials staged at the machine. Performs machine component setup, applies troubleshooting for machine components, makes minor non-mechanical adjustments, and uses a computer interface to monitor performance and enter data into MS Excel. Conducts quality checks on finished products, resolves productivity and quality issues with minimal supervision, and supports internal/external audits. Performs housekeeping and safety duties, and may fulfill Material Handler duties as required. Requires ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, operate pallet jacks, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Education preferred: High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 years related experience; basic computer skills. The role offers a national pay range of $17.90-$23.60 per hour, with potential bonuses or incentives and comprehensive benefits. Work schedule is 1st Shift Thursday-Monday, 4:15am-12:30pm. The position is in Commerce, CA, US, on-site.
