Job Summary
Lead transmission line construction, maintenance, and repair activities on energized and de-energized equipment, replacing poles, crossarms, insulators, and conductors while ensuring safety around energized facilities. Mentor, train, and develop line crew personnel in technical skills and efficient work practices. Operate and oversee the safe use of line construction and maintenance equipment, read construction drawings, and coordinate work schedules with the District Manager. Perform switching, sectionalizing, and Patrolman duties as assigned, including substation construction and mobile substation deployment. Complete daily reports and material tracking. Requires minimum six years of progressively responsible transmission line experience, a valid CDL, and high school diploma. Full-time position in Hearne, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent certificate
- Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible transmission line experience, including experience as a Journeyman Lineman, Senior Lineman, or Patrolman
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements, or the ability to maintain one
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- The company does not sponsor employment visas, including H-1B visas, and does not participate in student visa training extensions or related employer-supported work authorization programs, including F-1 OPT or STEM OPT, due to administrative limitations
