Job Summary
Disassemble, repair, re-assemble, and test lift truck components while diagnosing failures and adjusting equipment. Reproduce defective parts, clean assemblies, and inspect components to maximize reuse and control costs. Create repair estimates, submit substantiating information, and prepare accurate parts requisitions, time cards, and service reports. Monitor job expenses against estimates to prevent cost overruns and assume temporary lead positions as needed. Utilize dealer computer systems for work orders and documentation while maintaining a safe, orderly work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-4 years
- Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers
- Must have completed standards outlined in the personnel achievement guideline or have been determined to meet the same qualification by the lead person based on division location
- Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Must be able to lift 26-50 lbs
- Must be able to lift Over 50 lbs
