Job Summary

Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment to safely move, load, unload, and stage raw materials and finished goods. Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections, maintain clean work areas, and verify shipping documentation to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize product damage. Stack, organize, and rotate inventory to support first-in, first-out practices while inspecting shipments for visible damage. Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to coordinate material flow and achieve operational goals, including training new team members on safe handling procedures. Works independently within established safety standards and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts
  • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain required forklift operator qualification
  • Knowledge of safe material handling and warehouse operations
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required for material handling and inventory activities
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position
