Job Summary
Operate a powered lift to move materials throughout production, warehouse, storage, and shipping/receiving areas while inspecting, receiving dry goods, and processing paperwork using the JDE system and RF technology. Supply packaging lines with necessary supplies, remove finished product from production lines or inbound trucks, and re-warehouse to ensure maximum space utilization. Perform daily safety checks and maintenance on the lift truck, including fueling, washing, and greasing, while participating in physical inventory and staging outbound truck loading. Work graveyard shifts Monday through Friday from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1+ years as a Lift Operator in a fast-paced environment
- Able to be certified in clamp and forklift truck operation
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read, evaluate and understand work orders/ process orders and schedules
- Able to communicate effectively with co-workers
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Experience in operating a lift truck
- Experience in production atmosphere
- Graveyard Shift: Monday - Friday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
- Must be able to move up to 55lbs
