Job Summary
Operate one of three mountain lifts daily, ensuring safe guest loading and unloading while monitoring the RFID ticket system. Maintain station, ramp, and maze appearances throughout the shift and immediately report any hazards or problems to supervisors. Work outdoors in potentially extreme cold conditions, handling loads up to 20 kg, with a requirement for physical fitness and strong interpersonal skills. Full training is provided, and successful completion of a full winter season contract earns an incentive of $1 per hour. You will work alongside skilled individuals at Canada's second-largest ski area to deliver a world-renowned mountain experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be outgoing, have a positive attitude, and enjoy working with people
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and free from injuries, able to lift 40lbs (20kg) for more than a few moments
- Able to work individually and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks in a safe, timely manner
- Proven ability to be consistent in attendance, punctuality, and act with integrity
- This job position requires physical presence at the designated location
