Job Summary
Operate chairlifts and conveyors while ensuring guest and staff safety, loading, riding, and unloading equipment per all protocols. Fill out daily paperwork, maintain lift shacks, and communicate needs to your Lead Operator regarding logs, tools, and fuel. Manage snow tube operations at the Activity Barn, including pushing groups down lanes, ensuring safety at crossings, and instructing guests on usage. Be ready to work any position on lifts or conveyors, answer guest questions on resort policies, and escalate complaints to supervisors. Complete mandatory training in lift operations, rope evacuation, and unseated passenger procedures. Work full or part-time seasonal shifts in adverse weather, maintaining work areas and staying hydrated and warm throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years old or older
- Be prepared for and able to work a full shift in sometimes adverse weather conditions
- Be able to lift 50lbs, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, push, pull, grasp, feel, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions
- Be On Time
- Have reliable means of getting to work
