Job Summary
Operate RF-equipped stand-up forklifts to conduct bin block counts, planned cycle counts, and product retrieval throughout the distribution center. Use SAP scanners and tablets to accurately record inventory and identify necessary equipment maintenance. Maintain a safe, clean environment by complying with OSHA standards while meeting production efficiency levels. Troubleshoot daily task problems and perform additional assignments as directed by leadership. Work independently with little supervision, prioritizing accuracy and flexibility to handle shifting priorities. Requires successful completion of PIT training and basic math skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to successfully pass PIT training and operating PIT (Reach Truck and Order Selector)
- Basic understanding of equipment operator roles within a warehouse distribution environment
- Basic math skills
- Basic understanding of the SAP warehouse management system
- Excellent communication abilities, including speaking, writing, and active listening
- Effective organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking, and planning
- Flexibility as priorities may change mid-task
- Ability to handle multiple job tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision
- Meticulous attention to detail where accuracy is key
- Focus and critical thinking
- Maintain a high-level of professionalism and discretion
- Consistently work scheduled shifts and be on time to comply with the company attendance policy
- Work overtime when necessary
- Work independently and in a team environment willing to help in other departments
