Lift Mechanic

Job Summary
Maintain and repair aerial lift systems through preventative maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and safety inspections during operating hours. Monitor equipment performance using sight, sound, and touch while working safely at heights and in varying mountain weather conditions. Resolve lift issues throughout the season and collaborate with Mountain Operations teams to ensure safe, reliable operations for all guests. Perform additional duties as assigned while interacting professionally with guests when required. This hands-on role demands strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently within a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license required
- Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
- Ability to safely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with tools, machinery, or rigging preferred
